Hosted by the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC), the first-ever Regional Brand Caucus on 29 October brought together over 150 representatives from 103 international fashion brands and retailers, united by one goal: ๐’•๐’ ๐’ƒ๐’–๐’Š๐’๐’… ๐’‚ ๐’”๐’‚๐’‡๐’†๐’“, ๐’”๐’•๐’“๐’๐’๐’ˆ๐’†๐’“, ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’Ž๐’๐’“๐’† ๐’”๐’–๐’”๐’•๐’‚๐’Š๐’๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’† ๐‘น๐‘ด๐‘ฎ ๐’Š๐’๐’…๐’–๐’”๐’•๐’“๐’š ๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’๐’ˆ๐’๐’‚๐’…๐’†๐’”๐’‰.

Throughout the day, RSC staff shared inspiring progress on the organizationโ€™s inspection and remediation programme, showcasing how continuous improvements across thousands of factories are keeping workers safer.

Brand representatives reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate closely with RSC โ€” recognizing that its inspection and remediation programme has become an integral pillar of Bangladeshโ€™s RMG industry and a vital part of the global fashion supply chain. They agreed that for the sustainability of the industry, the continuation of RSCโ€™s work is not just important โ€” itโ€™s essential.

Achieving and maintaining sustainable safety in the garment industry requires teamwork among the RSC, the RMG industry, brands, and trade unions to shape a future where workersโ€™ voices matter and safety is a key priority.
